If You're Struggling

Seeing someone you love struggle can be very hard, but understanding it will help ease any overwhelming feelings. Here are some things to do:

  • Take it seriously

  • Be a positive influence

  • Realize you can't "fix" it

  • Encourage them to get help if they don't already have it

  • Listen to what the person has to say

  • Express your concern

  • Call 911 if the person is in danger of self-harm or suicide
